Finding calm amidst the uncertainty

covid19 wellbeing May 07, 2020

So many volunteers are doing amazing things across all communities. Making food and delivering parcels, shopping, sharing, making scrubs, working in the care sector and the NHS, etc, etc.

Amazing to watch and see people step up and take on new challenges.

So, people seem to be struggling at the moment. How are you doing?

The initial three weeks were unsettling, the next three weeks were steady'ish with Easter holidays etc. But now we have another new month and news expected on Sunday as to what is happening next.

The unknown is unsettling...

How are you doing? And how are your friends and family?

Are you taking time to get outside and exercise? Are you noticing spring?

We have so many feathered families busy raising families at the moment. It is wonderful to be able to see nature and to know that the proverbial "life goes on".

We need to keep on moving, eating well, sleeping with a regular routine and nurturing our bodies - mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

Join in the guided breathing exercise for strength and calmness

This video has a calming breathing exercise for you, from about 12 minutes in. Take time to do this little breathing exercise whenever you are feeling stressed or emotional.

I wish you a calm energetic few days ahead.

Keep breathing, keep calm, keep exercising. Stay calm and healthy.

With love

Lynda
