Friday 13 September

Arrive between 15:00 and 17:00

Unwind with afternoon tea, have a gentle short walk, relaxing wholesome dinner, gentle meditation, early night.

Saturday 14 September

Start the day with morning yoga to warm up and meditation to still the mind.

A hearty, healthy breakfast and then we head out to explore the local countryside at a leisurely pace. Take your time, enjoy the experience, absorb the surroundings and relax.

Relax in the evening with yoga to stretch and some coaching time if desired. Casual dinner in the log cabin before an early night.

Sunday 15 September

Morning yoga, gentle walk and lunch before heading home around 15:00.

Redmire is 4 miles west of Leyburn in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.  Aysgarth, with spectacular falls are to the SouthWest and heading North over the moors we reach Reeth.

Within easy reach of heather clad moors, rushing becks, rivers and waterfalls, market towns and quaint villages. 

Wensleydale is a picturesque valley with the River Ure carving its way through numerous rocky falls. The western terminus of the Wensleydale Railway is at Redmire Station.

The village itself has a small green, and a few yards away is the Bolton Arms, one of the best pubs in the area, with great beers and a superb food available. Redmire has a small shop/post office and is served by the 156 bus linking it to Hawes and Leyburn. 

Lots of relaxing and restorative exercise to destress, relax and unwind.  

Start and end the day with restorative gentle yoga, meditation and mindful breathing.

During the day we will explore the local countryside at a leisurely pace.

The River Ure with spectacular waterfalls, including Aysgarth and the highest unbroken waterfall at Hardraw, make this a superb walking area. With plenty of photo opportunities and time to stop and be mesmerised by the water. 

Bolton Castle is one of many castles nearby. And, of course, the Wensleydale Railway terminates at Redmire.

Artists and craftsmen are inspired by the surroundings. We will explore, pause, relax and enjoy the local people, history, scenery, and wildlife. The butterflies abound at this time of year.

This is a weekend of relaxation and unwinding - it is all about you! 

My friends and I are not wanting to walk at a hectic pace and cover miles on this weekend.

The intention is to be mindful ..  to pause ..  to notice ..  to witness ..  to feel ..   to hear ..  to enjoy ..  all that nature has to offer.

We will probably cover between 5 and 12 miles in a day. The pace will be gentle, breaks often and a sense of camaraderie - laughter, companionable silence, moments to pause, stops to breathe and eat and enjoy.

A weekend break to let nature replenish your energy.

We will be walking on countryside tracks and paths. At times we will be able to walk on the rocks at the river, or through the heather covered moors.

You will need robust footwear. Trainers may be ok if the weather is dry... Walking boots are ideal and recommended.

The nature of river areas is the need to face some hills... These will not be huge but be aware that there will be some up and down walking so prepare for that, and protect your ankles.

Most dietary requirements can be catered for - just provide details on the forms through the booking process. I am very happy to have a chat with you and make sure that the team full understand your needs. As a vegetarian coeliac I do understand how important this is..

Each timber chalet has a kitchen and fridge if you have medication that needs to be kept cool.

Due to the nature of the weekend and activities not all physical disabilities can be catered for but we will support and accommodate where possible.
